286 - సప్తసాగర మహాదానాను కీర్తనము
పుచు మణిరాసులచే మానవాదులకు భూషణాలంకారములను సమకూర్చుచు లోక క్షేమంకరములయి యున్నారు; కావున ఇట్టి మీచే మాకును లక్ష్మి ( క్షేమ సంపద) కలుగుగాక!”
అని ఇట్లు శుచి మానసుడై నేనింత గొప్ప పని చేసితినే యను విస్మయము (ఆశ్చర్యము కాని గర్వముకాని) లేక ఈ నప్త రసాన్వితములగు అమృతసాగరములను అమలమగు కొంచసముతో చేయించి చక్కని వన్నె తో మెరయు వీనిని దానము చేయు నాతడు ఆమరులచేతను ఆర్చీతుడగుచు హరిలోకమునందును; సకల పాపములనుండియు విముక్తుడై కడిగి వేయ బడి విరాజితుడగుచు అదివరకు నరకలోక బాధలచే ఆకులత నందుచుండినవారే యయినను తన పితృపితామహ కళత్ర పుత్తాడులను కూడ ముక్తి నందించి శివపుర మునకు కొని పోవును.
ఇది శ్రీమత్స్య మహాపురాణమునందు షోడశ మహాదానాను కీర్తనమున సప్తసాగర మహాదానాను కీర్తనమను రెండు వందల ఎనుబది ఆరవ అధ్యాయము.
