150 - మహావిష్ణువు గ్రసనాసురుని చంపుట॥
సూతుడు ఋషులకు ఇంక ను ఇట్లు చెప్పసాగెను: దానవులు అతనిని చూచి క్రుద్దులయి తమతమ బలము లతో కూడి తేనెటీగలు తేనెను తెచ్చుట కై కదలిపోవునట్లు అన్ని వైపులకును)నుండియు కదలిరి॥ నల్లని చామర ములసమూహ ముల రాసులును అమృతముతో చేసినట్లున్న దంతపు మొలకలును పలువన్నెల ఐదు పతాక లును కలిగి గండ స్థలపు ఆంచులనుండి మదము స్రవించుచు పర్వతమువలె నున్న దుర్గరమగు భయంకర గజమునా రోహించి బలశాలియగు నిమిదై త్యుడు హరివై పునకు పోయెను॥ ఆతని గజమును రక్షించుటకు కిరీటములతో కవచములతో ప్రకాశించు రాక్షసులిరువదియేడు వేలమంది రౌద్ర దైత్యులుండిరి॥ అశ్వమునెక్కి మథనుడు ఉష్ట్రము పై జంభకుడు ప్రకాశించు శుంభుడు విపులమగు మేషము నౌరోహించియు వచ్చిరి॥ ఇతర దానవేంద్రులును ఖడ్గములను నాస్త్రములను ధరించి క్రుద్ధులయి ఆశ్చర్యకర కర్మాచరణ సమర్థుడగు విష్ణునితో యుద్ధమునకు వచ్చిరి॥ నిమిదై త్యుడు పరిఘముతో మథనుడు ముద్గరముతో శుంభుడు శూలముతో గ్రసనుడు వాడియగు ప్రాసముతో క్రుద్దుడే మహిషుడు చక్రముతో జంభ మహా

Bhagavān Matsya details the aggressive expansion of the blind Asura king Andhakāsura after receiving divine boons of invincibility and regenerated vision from Bhagavān Brahmā. Fueled by insatiable ambition and pride, Andhakāsura assembled an immense demon army equipped with dark mystical weapons, war elephants, and chariot divisions led by fierce commanders like Baka, Kāla, and Virūpāksha. The Asura sovereign marched against the celestial realm of Svarga, overwhelming Devarāja Indra and the Lokapālas in battle and seizing control of the three worlds. Having vanquished the celestial forces, Andhakāsura established a tyrannical rule, halting Vedic sacrifices and disturbing the spiritual harmony maintained by righteous sages across the earth.
