89 - రత్న పర్వతదానము
ఈశ్వరుడు నారదునకు ఇట్లు తేలి పెను: ఇక మీదట రత్న పర్వత దాన విషయమును తెలి పెదను. ఇది ఆత్యు తను నుయినది. దీని నాచరించినవారు సర్వోత్తమమగు విష్ణులోక మేగుదురు. వేయి కాని ఐదువందలు కాని మూడు వందలుకాని పలముల ము తైములు దీనికై వినియోగించవలెను. మొత్తము తూకములో నాలుగవ వంతుతో విష్కంభ పర్వతముల నాలుగు దిక్కులందు చేయవలేను. తూర్పున వజ్రములతో గోమేదములతో మందరమును దక్షిణమున ఇంద్ర నీలములతో పద్మరాగములతో గంధమాదనమును పశ్చిమమున వైదూర్యములతో పగడములతో విపుల పర్వతమును ఉత్తరమున పద్మరాగములతో గరుడ పచ్చలతో సుపార్శ్వ పర్వతమును నిర్మించవలేను. మంత్రములు అర్చన విధానము బంగారుతో వృక్షములు దేవతలు హరినావాహనము చేయుట అన్ని యు ధాన్య పర్వతమునందువ లేనే. దాన దినపు ఉదయమున మత్సరము లేక లోగడ చెప్పినట్లే గురునకును ఋత్విక్కులకును మేరువును విష్కంభ పర్వతములను దానమీయవలెను. (దానమంత్రము: దేవతలందరు అన్ని రత్నములయందు వసింతురు. అట్టి రతనముల పర్వతమా! నన్నెల్లప్పుడు కాపాడుము. అన్న హవిః) ప్రదానముచే ఇంద్రుడు సంతసించి వర్షమును కురిపించునట్లే నేను చేసిన ఈ రత్న ప్రదానముచే హరి సంతసించి నాకు కోరికలు కురియునట్లు అనుగ్రహించుము. ఈ విధానమున రత్న పర్వతదానము చేసినవారు దేవేంద్రునిచే కూడ పూజితమగు విష్ణులోకమున కేగి పూర్ణముగ నూరు కల్పముల టచటనుండి మరల కల్పాది సృష్టియందు రూపారోగ్య సద్గుణ సంపన్నుడైన సప్త ద్వీపాధిపతిగా జన్మించును. ఇహముననో పరముననో చేసిన బ్రహ్మ హత్యోది పాపములన్నియు వజపు దెబ్బ తీసిన పర్వతమువలే నశించును.

Bhagavān Matsya describes the Ghṛtāchala-Dāna, involving the symbolic gift of a mountain composed of vast quantities of pure cow ghee stored in large copper and brass vessels. The practitioner arranges twenty golden or copper jars filled with clarified butter, arranging them to resemble a magnificent mountain, adorned with golden lotus flowers, silk fabrics, and precious gems. The devotee worships the Ghṛtāchala as the source of all sacrificial energy and bodily vitality, invoking Agni Deva and Bhagavān Vishṇu within the vessel peaks. Gifting this mountain of ghee to learned Vedic priests purifies the donor's bodily tissues, grants radiant health and intellect, neutralizes poisons and diseases, and secures an imperishable place in the spiritual world.
