86 - తిలపర్వత దానము
ఈశ్వరుడు నారదునకు ఇట్లు చెప్పెను. ఇక మీదట తిలపర్వత దాన విధానమును తెలి పెదను. దీనినాచరించిన వారు సర్వోత మమగు విష్ణు లోకమును పొందుదురు. దీని కై పదికాని ఐదుకాని చూడుకాని ద్రోణముల తిలలు కావలెను. దీనియందు అన్ని యంశములును ధాన్య పర్వత దానమందువలేనే. (దానమంత్రము.) శ్రీ మహా విష్ణువు మధు దానవుని వధించునపుడు ఆతని దేహమునుండి తిలలును కుశ లును మినుములును జనించినవి. ఆటి తిలలు నాకు శాంతికలిగించు గాక ! హవ్యకవ్య దేవతా-పితృ దేవతా) - కర్మములందు తిలలే అభిరక్షించునవి: ఆటి తిలల పర్వతమా! నన్ను సంసా రమునుండి తరింపజేయుము. ఇట్లు మంత్రించి ఆ వాహనము చేసి) తిల పర్వత దానము చేయువాడు పునరావృత్తి రహిత మగు విష్ణులోకమునుచేరి సుఖించును. ఇహలోకమునందును దీర్ఘాయువును పుత్ర పౌత్తులను పొందును. పితరులు ను దేవతలును గంధర్వులును పూజించుచుండ స్వర్గమున సుఖించును.

Bhagavān Matsya expounds upon Suvarṇāchala-Dāna, hailed as one of the most magnificent Mahādānas involving the donation of a symbolic mountain of pure gold. The practitioner fashions a golden mountain weighing from one hundred to one thousand Palas of gold, depicting various divine peaks, celestial trees, rivers, and shrines upon its surface. The devotee invokes Bhagavān Brahmā, Vishṇu, and Śiva at the central peak, performing elaborate Pūjā with precious jewels, divine garments, lotus garlands, and aromatic unguents. The golden mountain is presented as charity to an ascetic Brāhmaṇa, bestowing upon the giver supreme imperial authority, complete eradication of the most severe karmic transgressions, and eternal residency in the supreme realm of Brahman.
