73 - త్య్ర సప్తతిమాధ్యాయము
బలహీనమొనర్చియైనను.) అను నర్ధములు సమంజసములని తోచినది. “శివు నారాధించినచో అట్టి హింసాదోషముల నొందజాలడు గాన నాచే నిర్మింపబడినది, సర్వదేవవంద్యమానంబు నగు స్ఫటికశిలా లింగమును మొదట పూజించుచున్నాను.” అని బ్రహ్మదేవుడు ఇష్టములైన వాక్కులతో మహేశ్వరుని ప్రశంసించెను.
బ్రహ్మ ప్రబోధకాలమునుండి దేవేంద్రాదులు పాశుపత వ్రతము నవలంబించి భస్మోద్ధూళిత విగ్రహులునై పరమేశ్వరు నర్చించుచండిరి.
ఇయ్యది “శివ విజ్ఞాన వీచిక” అను శాంకరీయ ఆంధ్రానువాద ప్రవచనమున(73)వ అధ్యాయము.

This chapter extols the infinite merits of worshipping Bhagavān Śiva with pure heart and devotion. Sūta Romaharshaṇa explains that even a simple offering of a single bilva leaf, a drop of water, or a single utterance of Śiva's holy name with sincere faith yields greater spiritual merit than performing thousands of horse sacrifices.
