91. ఆదిత్య కల్పమున రోగహరవిధి వర్ణనము

తా॥ బ్రహ్మదేవుడిట్లు చెప్పెను “భగదైవత్యమగు ఉత్తర ఫల్గుని నక్షత్రము, ఆదిత్య వారము నాడైనచో నా దినము మహత్తరమైనది. సర్వ రోగములను, భయములను హరించి వేయునది. ఈ దినమున శ్రేష్ఠములైన గంధ పుష్పాదులతో సూర్య భగవానుని పూజించువాడు సర్వ రోగములనుండి ముక్తుడై సూర్య లోకమునకుబోవును. జిల్లేడాకులతో రెండు దొప్పలు చేసి, వానిలో జిల్లేడు పూలనుంచి, వానిని రాత్రి సమయమున సూర్య దేవుని ముందుంచి. ఆ పుష్పములతో ప్రాతః కాలమున నర్క ప్రియుడగు సూర్యదేవుని పూజించి, అర్క పుష్పమును ప్రసాదముగ స్వీకరించి, బ్రాహ్మణునకు దక్షిణ నిచ్చి,. సూర్య భగవానుని యందు భక్తితో పొయసము భుజించి నేలపై పరుండవలెను. ఈ విధానముగ నీ దీనమున సూర్యారాధన చేయువాడు. సర్వ రోగముల నుండి ముక్తుడై సూర్యలోకమున కేగును. అట నుండి స్వర్గమునకుఁబోవును.

శ్రీ భవిష్య మహాపురాణమునందలి బ్రహ్మపర్వమున ఆదిత్య కల్పమునందు ‘రోగ హర విధి వర్ణన'మను తొంబది యొకటవ అధ్యాయము సమాప్తము.

The chapter teaches that Sūrya's healing power is not limited to those who can worship in person; a devoted family member's Sunday worship, performed with genuine love for the sick person and complete faith in Sūrya's grace, is fully effective.
