29 - Trailokya-mohini
Hari said:
1. I shall now describe the worship of Trailokya Mohini1 (the enchantress of the three worlds) a chief form of Purushottama (Lord Vişhnu) and also the mantras for the worship of Shri Radha2 that yields virtue, desire etc.
1. An obvious reference to the form of a most beautiful woman assumed by Vishnu, at the time of distributing of nectar, to cheat the demons.
2. v.l. Shridhara.
2. Om Hrim Shrim Klim Hum Om obcisance. O! foremost among men! O thou the unrivalled in features the abode of goddess of Fortune I the exciter of the entire universe! the breaker of the hearts of all woman! O thou who heightenst the elation of the three worlds! Distress the minds of the beautiful women among the gods and demons; dry, dry (them); beat, beat (them); win, win (them); melt, melt (them); attract attract (them). O thou the finc-featured! thou the giver of fine features that grant good fortune. O thou the giver of all desires!
Kill kill so-and-so with the discus, club and sword. Pierce, pierce with all the arrows; pound and beat with the goad and noose. Why dost thou tarry ? Save, save, till my desired object is achieved. Hrum Phat obeisance.
3. Shrim obeisance to Shridhara the enchanter of the three worlds. Klim obeisance to Puruşhottama the enchanter of three worlds!
4. Hum obeisance to Vişhnu the enchanter of the three worlds.
Om Shrim Hrim Klim obeisance to the enchanter of the three worlds, Vishnu.
5. All the mantras of the enchanter of the three worlds are conducive to the achievement of all objects. All can be meditated upon collectively, separately analytically or succinctly.
6-7. After the worship of the seat, idol, weapon, the six ancillary objects of the sacrifice viz -Chakra, Gada, Sword, Pestle, Conch and the -09, arrow, noose, goad and Vishvaksena (Vişhnu) accompanied by Lakşhmi and Garuda, in detail or otherwise, the devotee shall obtain everything.
