Divine Objects
The scriptures of Sanātana Dharma describe many divine objects: the weapons and ornaments of Bhagavān Vishṇu, jewels with special powers, vessels that never run empty, and vehicles that fly. Each has its own origin, its own keeper and its own part in the narratives of the Purāṇas and the Itihāsas. The pages below explain them one by one.
The maṇi-kuṇḍalas are the divine earrings of Queen Madayantī that Uttaṅka sought as guru-dakshiṇā and won back from Nāgaloka.
MushalaThe Mushala is the iron pestle born from Sāmba by the ṛshis' curse. It brought about the destruction of the Vṛshṇis and Andhakas in the Mausala Parva.

Rāma-Mudrā VastraThe Rāma-mudrā vastra is a cloth marked with Rāma's sacred seal. Bhagavān Rāma teaches its use to the munis in the Ānanda Rāmāyaṇa.
Sañjīvana MaṇiThe sañjīvana maṇi is the life-restoring jewel of the nāgas, which Ulūpī called to bring Arjuna back to life at Maṇipura.
ŚārṅgaŚārṅga is the divine bow of Bhagavān Vishṇu, carried by Kṛshṇa, whose twang fills the three worlds and frightens his enemies.
Śiva-DhanusThe Śiva-dhanus, also called Piṇāka, was Bhagavān Śiva's great bow in Janaka's court. Rāmacandra lifted and broke it to win Sītā.
Sudarśana CakraThe Sudarśana Cakra is the blazing divine disc of Bhagavān Vishṇu and his avatāras, the foremost of his weapons.
SuprātīkaSuprātīka was the great war elephant of Bhagadatta, king of Prāgjyotisha, who fought for the Kauravas at Kurukshetra.
Syamantaka MaṇiThe Syamantaka Maṇi is the shining jewel Sūrya gave to Satrājit. It gave gold each day and drew Kṛshṇa into a famous account of suspicion and vindication.
VīṭāmukhaThe vīṭāmukha is a round, ball-like object that an ascetic of the hardest tapas holds clenched in the mouth, as Vidura did in the forest.
Agastya's KāṅkaṇasTwo divine kāṅkaṇas (sacred bracelets) that Agastya Maharshi gave to the twin princes Kuśa and Lava at the Mudgala āśrama.
AkshayapātraThe Akshayapātra is the inexhaustible vessel that Sūrya gave to Yudhishṭhira to feed the Pāṇḍavas and their followers during the forest exile.
Aśvatthāmā's MaṇiThe jewel on Aśvatthāmā's forehead, a gift of Bhagavān Mahādeva, which Draupadī demanded and Yudhishṭhira wore on his crown.
ErakaEraka is the reed-grass at Prabhāsa that grew from the powdered iron mushala and became the pestles with which the Vṛshṇis and Andhakas killed one another.
JṛmbhaṇāstraThe Jṛmbhaṇāstra is a divine weapon that makes armies yawn and fall into helpless drowsiness without killing them. Kṛshṇa used it at Śoṇitapura.
Kalki's Divine Horse and ŚukaBhagavān Śiva gave Bhagavān Kalki a swift divine horse, an all-knowing parrot called Śuka, and a jewelled sword at Bilvodeśvara.
Kāmagamana VimānaThe Kāmagamana Vimāna is the celestial vehicle that moves at will, in which Nārada says Dhṛtarāshṭra will travel the lokas after his death.
KaumodakīKaumodakī is the divine mace of Bhagavān Vishṇu and Kṛshṇa. In the Sabhā Parva, Māyāsura gives it to Bhīmasena.
Kaustubha MaṇiThe Kaustubha Maṇi is the great jewel that rose from the cosmic ocean at the Samudra Mathana and rests on the chest of Bhagavān Vishṇu.
