Bhānumatī is one of those who kept the Rambhā Vrata. The Uttara Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names each with her place: Gāyatrī in svarga, Gaurī on Kailāsa, Indrāṇī in Nandanavana, Lakshmī in Śvetadvīpa, Rājñī in the Ravimaṇḍala, Arundhatī in Dāruvana, Svāhā on Meru, Sītā Devī in Ayodhyā, Vedavatī on Himācala, and Bhānumatī in Nāgapura.
