Alika
Alika
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Vāyu was born in the house of Dhānyapāla, a man of vaiśya jāti, in mūla-gaṇḍānta, and his father and mother left him in the Vindhya forest of Kāśī. A childless weaver named Alika came there, took the boy and returned to his home. That boy of beautiful face became famous by the name Kabīra. Sūta tells this to the muni after Bṛhaspati‘s account.
