Trivedinī
Trivedinī · tri-vedinī, “she of the three Vedas”
Trivedinī is one of the ten daughters of Śāradā Devī. Bhagavān Jagannātha tells Kṛshṇacaitanya, in the Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, that by the vara of Sarasvatī Devī Kaṇva had ten sons, and that when they were twelve years old Śāradā Devī, who loves her bhaktas, gave them her daughters: Upādhyāyī, Dīkshitā, Pāṭhakī, Śuklikā, Miśrāṇī, Agnihotriṇī, Dvivedinī, Trivedinī, Pāṇḍyāyanī and Caturvedinī. Trivedinī, the eighth of them, became the wife of Trivedī.
Each of those daughters had sixteen sons from her husband, and they all became gotrakāras: Kaśyapa, Bharadvāja, Viśvāmitra, Gotama, Jamadagni, Vasishṭha, Vatsa, Gautama, Parāśara, Garga, Atri, Bhṛgu, Aṅgirā, Śṛṅgī, Kātyāyana and Yājñavalkya.
