Candramajalā
Candramajalā
Candramajalā is the seventh of the nine Durgās. The Uttara Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that when the daitya Raktāsura took Amarāvatī, the devas fled to Karachatrāpurī, where Durgā, beloved of Bhava, dwells and Cāmuṇḍā is enthroned with the nine Durgās. The devas praised them with bhakti: Mahālakshmī, Nandā, Kshemakarī, Śivadūtī, Mahāruṇḍā, Pāyarī, Candramajalā, Revatī and Harasiddhi.
