Bhadrasara
Bhadrasara · bhadra-sara, “the auspicious lake”
Bhadrasara is the lake of the northern mountain Supārśva. In the Uttara Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, Śrī Kṛshṇa teaches Yudhishṭhira the gift of the Dhānyaśaila, the mountain of grain, with Meru and the four boundary mountains around it. In the north, Supārśva is set up from urad, adorned with fine cloth and flowers, with a golden vaṭa tree on its peak and a golden cow. Beside it are a lake named Bhadrasara, made of honey, and a forest of shining silver.
