Valīgaḍha
Valīgaḍha
Valīgaḍha is a very delightful place that was protected by the Yādavas. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells, in Sūta’s answer to Śaunaka about the kings after Pṛthvīrāja, that the Paiśāca king Kutukoddīna came against it.
Kutukoddīna at Valīgaḍha
Kutukoddīna, ruler of Dillī, went to Valīgaḍha for battle with ten thousand soldiers. He conquered the excellent Bhūpasena, grandson of Vīrasena, and began to rule in the city of Dillī. Then kings of many lands came there, conquered Kutukoddīna and drove him out of the land.
