Lakshmīdatta
Lakshmīdatta · lakshmī-datta, “given by Lakshmī”
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Bhagavān Pāvaka produced his own aṃśa from his mouth, and it became famous as Raṅkaṇa, son of Lakshmīdatta, born in a vaiśya family in the city of Kāñcanapura. Raṅkaṇa and his pativratā wife Yaṅkaṇā spent all their wealth in works of dharma, and his guru was Rāmānanda.
