Śāntivarmā
Śāntivarmā · śānti-varmā
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Śāntivarmā was a king of the line descended from Parihāra, in the branch that Vindhyavarmā took to Vaṅga (the print glosses it Baṅgāla). Sūta gives the line to Śaunaka. He was the son of Nārāyaṇa, the son of Surasena. Śāntivarmā settled a city named Śāntipura on the bank of the Gaṅgā and lived there. His son was Nadīvarmā.
