Sātvatavān

Sātvatavān

Sātvatavān is a king of the Sātvata line at Mathurā in the Dvāpara Yuga, in the line of Vṛshṇi. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names him in the line that Sūta gives Śaunaka. He comes after Puruhotra, and he ruled as long as his father. His son was Bhajamāna.
