Vivaha (Marut)

Vivaha · vi-vaha, “the one who bears apart”

Vivaha is the fifth of the seven Maruts. Sumantu names them for Śatānīka as those who move in the antariksha on separate paths: Pravaha, Āvaha, Udvaha, Saṃvaha, Vivaha, Nīvaha and Parīvaha. Among the Maruts, at seven in each gaṇa, there are to be known forty-nine.
