Saumyā (Āśā Devī)
Saumyā, “the gentle one”
Saumyā is the seventh of the ten Āśā Devīs. Śrī Kṛshṇa tells King Yudhishṭhira their names in the rule of the Āśā Daśamī vrata: Aindrī, Āgneyī, Yāmyā, Nairṛti, Vāruṇī, Vāyavyā, Saumyā, Aiśānī, Adhaḥ and Brāhmī. They receive pūjā at night on the daśamī of the śukla paksha of any month, for the fulfilment of one’s wishes.
