Pravaha (Marut)

Pravaha · pra-vaha, “the one who bears along”

Pravaha is the first of the seven Maruts. Sumantu Muni tells King Śatānīka that the seven Maruts move in the antariksha on separate paths: Pravaha, Āvaha, Udvaha, Saṃvaha, Vivaha, Nīvaha and Parīvaha.
