Anumanta
Anumanta
Anumanta is one of the twelve devas called Sādhyas. Sumantu Muni tells King Śatānīka their names, and Anumanta stands second, after Manu and before Prāṇa. They are yajñabhuks, those who partake of yajña, and are honoured in all lokas. The same passage calls them the offspring born of Aditi to Kaśyapa, and then says that the Viśvedevas, the Vasus and the Sādhyas are the sons of Dharma.
