Yakshaloka

Yakshaloka · yaksha-loka, “the loka of the yakshas”

Yakshaloka is the loka of the yakshas. In the Uttara Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, Bhagavān Śrī Kṛshṇa tells Yudhishṭhira that a woman or man who keeps the Ānantarya vrata goes in a divine vimāna to Gandharvaloka, Yakshaloka, Devaloka and Vishṇuloka. After long enjoying excellent bhogas there, that person reaches Śivaloka and is then born on earth as a mighty cakravartī king, and his wife who kept the vrata becomes his chief queen.
