Vidvanmālā
Vidvanmālā · vidvat-mālā
Vidvanmālā is the pativratā queen of King Rūpasena. In the Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, the Vaitāla tells Vikramāditya that in ancient times, in the prosperous city of Vardhamāna, there lived a dharmic king named Rūpasena, and that his pativratā queen was Vidvanmālā. The account goes on to tell of Rūpasena’s faithful guard Vīravara and the Rāshṭralakshmī.
