Keśarī
Keśarī
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Keśarī was born of the body of Gautama ṛshi. His wife was Añjanā, and from her womb Bhagavān Śaṅkara by his aṃśa took avatāra as Hanumān. The mighty son of Keśarī lived on the bank at Pampāpura, and because he stood motionless he became famous by the name Sthāṇu. Bṛhaspati tells this to Devendra.
