Taṃsa

Taṃsa

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Taṃsa was a king of the Candra line in the Dvāpara Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Samuttaṃsa and the father of Dushyanta.
