Pravīra

Pravīra · pra-vīra, “the great hero”

Pravīra is a king of the Candra line in the Tretā Yuga. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, where Sūta tells Śaunaka of the kings of that yuga, gives him in the line that follows Māyāvidya of Pratishṭhānapura. He is the son of Pracinvān and the father of Nabhasya.
