Caraṇadāsa
Caraṇadāsa · caraṇa-dāsa, “the servant of the feet”
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells of Caraṇadāsa as the author of the Jñānamālā. It tells that Vardhana, one of the twenty disciples of the brāhmaṇa Mukunda, became renowned under this name, composed the work called Jñānamālā and became a follower of the path of Raidāsa.
