Guḍūcī

Meaning: a material of homa.
In the scriptures: guruca is named among the homa materials, with ghee, milk, pañcagavya, dadhi, madhu, lājā, jīvantī, kūshmāṇḍa, tinduka, dūrvā of three blades and many others. The chapter teaches that these have a fixed measure, to be learned from the śāstra (Bhavishya Purāṇa, Madhyama Parva, Bhāga 1, Chapters 17–18).
