Ārya Pṛthu
Ārya Pṛthu
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that in a land named Rājyaputra there were eight thousand śūdras, and that their king was Ārya Pṛthu. From him Māgadha arose. Having anointed his son Māgadha, Pṛthu departed. Sūta tells this to Śaunaka.
