Prajāpati Loka
Prajāpati Loka · prajā-pati loka, “the world of the Prajāpati”
Prajāpati Loka is the loka of the Prajāpati. The Bhavishya Purāṇa names it as the reward of one who bathes and worships Bhagavān Sūrya, and of brāhmaṇas who keep the gṛhastha dharma by the vidhi.
In the ratha yātrā of Bhagavān Sūrya
Brahmā, telling the fruits of the service of Bhagavān Sūrya at his ratha yātrā, says that one who gives ghee for his abhyañjana goes to svarga, one who brings tīrtha water for his abhisheka goes to Varuṇa Loka, and one who bathes Sūrya Deva and worships him goes to Prajāpati Loka.
