Samarakanda

Samarakanda

Samarakanda is a land named in the Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, in its line of later kings. The Pratisarga Parva tells that Bābara ruled for twenty years; a bracket printed with the text adds that he ruled some years at Samarakanda and some time in Bhārata. His son was Homāyu.
