Sūryavarcas
Sūryavarcas · sūrya-varcas, “the one with the radiance of Sūrya”
Sūryavarcas is a gandharva who attends Bhagavān Sūrya. Brahmā tells Rudra that Bhagavān Sūrya stays with gandharvas, apsarās, serpents, rākshasas and others, two months with each group in turn. In Māgha and Phālguna the gandharvas with him are Dhṛtarāshṭra and Sūryavarcas.
