Satyasena, Son of Karṇa

Satyasena was a son of Karṇa. He fought on the Kaurava side in the Kurukshetra war. Nakula killed him on the eighteenth and last day of the war.

His part in the war

Karṇa fought for the Kauravas and was killed on the seventeenth day of the war. Satyasena and his brothers Citrasena and Susheṇa went on fighting on the eighteenth day. That day the Kaurava army was led by Śalya, king of Madra, as senāpati (commander).

His death

On that last day Nakula fought Karṇa’s sons and killed Satyasena. Nakula also killed Satyasena’s brothers Citrasena and Susheṇa, one after the other, on the same day.
