Samidhana

Samidhana

Samidhana is named where Brahmā tells Rudra who was appointed to the ratha of Bhagavān Sūrya, and by whom. The Brahma Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa says that Varuṇa appointed Samidhana, pāśahasta (noose in hand). In the same list Garutmān appointed Vimala, Agni appointed Piṅgala and Kārtikeya appointed Vasubhittu.
