Rocana, “the radiant one”

Rocana is a follower of the mata of Madhvācārya. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Ruci, one of the twenty disciples of the brāhmaṇa Mukunda, was born again as Rocana. By performing many sung līlās he attained svarga.
