Rathasvana
Rathasvana · ratha-svana, “the one with the sounding ratha”
Rathasvana is a yaksha who attends Bhagavān Sūrya. The Brahma Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa, in its account of the ratha of Sūrya, says that Bhagavān Sūrya stays with gandharvas, apsarās, serpents and rākshasas, two months with each group in turn. In Jyeshṭha and Āshāḍha the yakshas with him are Rathasvana and Rathacitra.
