Mānadāsa · māna-dāsa

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Piṅgalāpati was born in the house of a cobbler and became famous as Raidāsa, son of Mānadāsa. Raidāsa went to Kāśīpurī, defeated Kabīra in debate, came to Śaṅkarācārya, and, defeated by him, came to Rāmānanda and accepted discipleship.
