Devavān
Devavān · deva-vān
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Devavān was one of the twenty disciples of the brāhmaṇa Mukunda in his former birth. When Mukunda was born as Akbara, Devavān descended as Keśava. He became a follower of Vishṇusvāmī. By composing Kavipriyā and other works he came to the state of a preta, and by composing the work called Rāma-jyotsnā he attained svarga.
