Śreṇimān and Vasudāna

Śreṇimān and Vasudāna were two warriors on the side of the Pāṇḍavas. They marched with Yudhishṭhira’s army to Kurukshetra. The Mahābhārata names both of them among the Pāṇḍava rathas (chariot warriors).

Vasudāna is the son of Kāśya, the king of Kāśī.

In the count of the rathas

In the Udyoga Parva, Bhīshma counts the warriors of both armies in the Rathātiratha-Saṃkhyāna Parva. Śreṇimān and Vasudāna are named in that count among the Pāṇḍava rathas.

In the march of the Pāṇḍava army

Chapter 196 of the Udyoga Parva tells of the last march of the Pāṇḍava army to its place of battle. Śreṇimān and Vasudāna are named there as warriors who follow Yudhishṭhira. Satyadhṛti and Saucitti march with them.

The same chapter says that Vasudāna is the son of Kāśya, the king of Kāśī.
