In the Udyoga Parva

Chapter 57 of the Udyoga Parva lists the forces allied with the Pāṇḍavas. Śarabhā and Karakarṣa are named there as brothers linked with the Cedi kingdom. The ruling king of Cedi was Dhṛṣṭaketu, the son of Śiśupāla. He brought one akṣauhiṇī (a full army division) to the side of the Pāṇḍavas. Śiśupāla, Dhṛṣṭaketu’s father, was killed by Kṛṣṇa. Śarabhā and Karakarṣa were part of this Cedi force, with Dhṛṣṭaketu, at the gathering of the Pāṇḍava allies at Upaplavya.
