Śaṅkhanābhi

Śaṅkhanābhi · śaṅkha-nābhi

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Śaṅkhanābhi was a king of the Raghu line in the Tretā Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Vajranābhi and the father of Vyutpanābhi. Sūta says of the whole line that all were descendants of Mahārāja Raghu, absorbed in the upāsanā (devoted service) of the Devī and devoted to yajñas and yāgas, and that at the end all these kings reached Svargaloka.
