Śamavartī

Śamavartī

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Śamavartī was a king of the Candra line in the Dvāpara Yuga. Sūta names him to Śaunaka in the account of the kings. He was the son of Kamalāsana and the father of Śrāddhadeva.
