Śālivardhana

Śālivardhana

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Śālivardhana was a king of the line of Pramara, the Sāmavedī king of Ambāvatī. Sūta gives the line to the ṛshis of Naimishāraṇya. Śālivardhana was the son of Śālihotra and the father of Śakahantā. King Śālivardhana ruled as his father did.
