Saumadatti

Saumadatti, “the son of Somadatta”

Saumadatti is a king of the Candra line in the Dvāpara Yuga, among the descendants of Saṃvaraṇa. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names him in the line that Sūta gives Śaunaka: he is the son of Somadatta and the father of Somavardhana.
