Rohiṇī (Wife of Kṛshṇa)
Rohiṇī, “the ruddy one”
Rohiṇī was one of the wives of Śrī Kṛshṇa, and the Brahma Purāṇa calls her nityasantushṭā, “the ever-content”, the one who is always satisfied. She bore Śrī Kṛshṇa sons, Dīptimān, Pravaksha and others. She is not Rohiṇī the wife of Vasudeva and mother of Balarāma, and not Rohiṇī the wife of Candra.
Among the wives of Śrī Kṛshṇa
Vyāsa tells the munis of the family of Śrī Kṛshṇa at Dvārakā. After the sons and the daughter of Rukmiṇī, he names Kṛshṇa’s seven other wives: Kālindī, Mitravindā, Satyā, Nāgnajitī, Jāmbavatī, Rohiṇī, the ever-content, and Śīlamaṇḍalā, the daughter of the king of Madra, who was of the highest character. Besides these, Hari had sixteen thousand wives.

Her sons
Later Vyāsa names the sons born to Śrī Kṛshṇa from each of his wives. From Rohiṇī were born Dīptimān, Pravaksha and others, as from Satyabhāmā were born Bhānu and others, and from Jāmbavatī Sāmba and others. Of all the sons of Śrī Kṛshṇa, Rukmiṇī‘s son Pradyumna was the first.
