Nāsameja
Nāsameja
Nāsameja is a son of the learned Kambalabarhisha, the son of Devāntaka, in the line of Bhajamāna. His brother is Asamauja. The Brahma Purāṇa names him in its account of the line of Vṛshṇi.
In the line of Bhajamāna
Bhajamāna‘s son was Vidūratha, and his son was the hero Rājādhideva. From Rājādhideva’s son Śamī came Pratikshatra, Svayambhoja and Bhadika. Bhadika had ten sons of fearsome valour, among them Devāntaka.
Devāntaka’s son was the learned Kambalabarhisha, and his sons were Asamauja and Nāsameja. To Asamauja, who had no sons, Andhaka gave sons: Sudaṃshṭra, Sucāru and Kṛshṇa, and they became known as the Andhakas.
