Mṛdu

Mṛdu, “the gentle one”

The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Mṛdu was a king in the line of Parīkshit, who ruled in Hastināpura. Sūta names him to Śaunaka among the kings after Parīkshit. He was the son of Nṛpañjaya and the father of Tigmajyoti.
