The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa names Manyumān among the Candravaṃśī kings of the Dvāpara Yuga, in the line of Mahārāja Bharata. He is the son of Bharadvāja and the father of Bṛhatkshetra, and he ruled the earth 18,000 years. Sūta tells the line to Śaunaka.
