Maitreshṭivardhana

Maitreshṭivardhana · maitreshṭi-vardhana, “he who increases the yajña to Mitra”

Maitreshṭivardhana is a king of the Candra line in the Dvāpara Yuga. The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that he was the son of Taraṇiyajña, and that his son was Citrabhānūrjaka.
