Ghoravarmā
Ghoravarmā · ghora-varmā
The Pratisarga Parva of the Bhavishya Purāṇa tells that Ghoravarmā was the son of Parihāra and the younger brother of Gauravarmā, who gladly handed him the kingdom of Kaliñjara. Ghoravarmā ruled in Kaliñjara. His son was Śārdūla, and the kings of his line became famous as Śārdūlīya. By the prasāda (grace) of Mahāmāyā, the kings born in the Śārdūla line spread over the whole earth. Sūta tells this to Śaunaka.
